Ok, tested the waters with a trim, sleek version of Oracle with two US agents in July, who deal with Fantasy Romance. Two nice rejections received mid August. Still, I got back into the swing of writing submission letters and up dating synopsis, pitchs and blurbs. Oracle has now been submitted to a Romance Publisher that takes unagented work. So the wait begins again, thirty days or what, maybe and oh shit to come.
Donna is still working on the edit and my finger nails are well and truely bitten, Last time we spoke she did say she liked it. *gulp*. When someone with Donna’s knowledge, taste and talent says they like your work, then, well, you get my drift.
As to Stoneman Green, not done any work on it. I was going to, but well, excuses I know, but I wanted to get Oracle squared away first, then Hand of Glory, though, I haven’t stopped thinking about SG1 and 2, oh heck, I can’t refer to them as that can I? ROFL. Anyway, I am going to go back over the draft from the beginning, reading, editing and adding as per the notes I have made, beginning this week.
I also need to complete the spreadsheet I have started for agents with regards to Hand of Glory, and re-write my pitch and synopsis. Hopefully now I am on a 20hr week.(this did not come into force until this week.) and the bad stuff I have been wading through the past two years is finally ebbing away I can begin to work on my writing in the old style.
